74. Happy New Year? Assessing Ohio's Non-Profits as We Leave 2020 Behind (Where it Belongs)

Dan talks with Mike Corey, Executive Director of the Human Service Chamber of Franklin County about how Ohio's non-profits have been doing through the pandemic, the consequences of the dreadful federal response to COVID19, and how you can can help support organizations doing important work in the community. Presented with lots of hope for 2021, utter disdain for 2020, and a few mostly unnecessary references to Sophocles and Wu-Tang Clan.

Read about the Human Service Chamber's work and learn how you can support the HSC's member organizations, which include more than 100 health and human services non-profits (aka Mike Corey's "bosses"). The HSC regularly updates its resources page, which has updates on the organization's work.

Be sure to check out the HSC's Board Interest Application, which Dan mentioned on the show. It's a great way to do your part to support non-profits around Central Ohio.

You can also follow Mike Corey as well as the Human Service Chamber on Twitter.
